Malaysian drone service provider Aerodyne Group has raised a $30-million bridging round led by Petronas’ corporate venture capital arm, PETRONAS Ventures. Existing investor Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (KWAP), Malaysia’s public service pension fund, also participated in the round.

The company will use the fresh investments to fuel expansion into Europe, Africa, Latin America and South Asia as well as to make strategic investments in tech acquisitions to enhance capabilities and launch Aerodyne’s entry into the advanced air mobility space.
