Malaysian corporations have engaged in a few acquisition deals over the past several days – UEM Edgenta is looking to consolidate a major player into its stable, Japan’s Mitsubishi UFJ pares down its stake in Public Bank below the substantial shareholder threshold while Ire-Tex receives a takeover offer from Nexgram.

UEM Edgenta takes 80% in KFM Holdings for $30.5m

UEM Edgenta Bhd is acquiring an 80 per cent stake in integrated facilities management company KFM Holdings Sdn Bhd for MYR128 million ($30.45 million), in a move to expand into the asset facilities management, environmental and sustainability business.
