Rezolv, an AI-focused lending technology platform for financial institutions, has raised $12.5 million in a Series A round led by Norwest, with participation from Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India and existing investor 3one4 Capital.

Founded in 2024 by Karan Mehta and Sonali Jindal, who previously founded lending platform Kissht, Rezolv works with banks and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) to improve debt collection.

The company combines a debt-collection platform with AI tools designed specifically for lending and collections.

Rezolv aims to help financial institutions manage collections more efficiently by bringing its lending expertise and AI technology together on a single platform.

“AI adoption is no longer the challenge as nearly every organisation today is implementing AI,” Sonali Jindal, founder of Rezolv. “We are solving this for debt collections by combining a comprehensive platform with AI and intelligence to deliver measurable outcomes across recovery rates, cost, productivity and workforce optimisation.”

AI is creating an opportunity to rethink how financial services are delivered. Debt collection is particularly well suited for AI-led transformation, given the scale of the market, the complexity involved, and the largely manual processes still used across the industry.

Rezolv, which competes with companies such as Credgenics and Nucleus Software, among others, claims to have a tie-up with over 22 banks and NBFCs, including AU Small Finance Bank, ICICI Bank, Poonawalla Fincorp, Bajaj Auto Credit, and Five-Star Business Finance.
