<a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Signature+Market" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Signature Market</a>, a Malaysia-based online platform for purchase of natural and organic products, has raised RM1,507,080 ($351,075) through an equity crowd funding campaign on <a style="color: #000080;" href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=+pitchIN" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">pitchIN</a>.
The campaign, which concluded in two weeks, raised funds from 161 investors.
It will use the funds to expand its production facilities and move into new markets such as Singapore.
Founded by Edwin Wang, the nearly two-year-old Signature Market offers its members products at 20-50 per cent of the retail price for a yearly fee of RM200 ($46). Products available include snacks, foods to vitamins and personal care products.
The company plans to introduce new products and improve their system for a better consumer experience.
Signature Market’s deal marked the tenth company for pitchIN, which has helped all the ten companies successfully raise a total of RM10 million. Among them include HR startup <a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Kakitangan" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Kakitangan</a>, which raised $240K in just one day in 2016.
