<p>OYO Hotels on Tuesday said it has appointed Rohit Kapoor as the chief executive officer (CEO) of its new real estate businesses while Matrimony.com has appointed Sushanth Pai as CFO.</p>
<h3>OYO names CEO for real estate unit</h3>
<p>OYO Hotels on Tuesday said it has appointed Rohit Kapoor as the chief executive officer (CEO) of its new real estate businesses, effective 6 December.</p>
<p>Kapoor was the executive director and a member of the board at Max Healthcare, a joint venture between Max India and Life Healthcare, South Africa, OYO said. He will be driving the new real estate business opportunities which include exploring new domains and categories and other strategic initiatives, OYO said in a statement.</p>
<p>He will also be responsible for growing OYO’s business in India as well as across international markets, through strategic partnerships and investment opportunities, it added.</p>
<p>Prior to Max, Kapoor was a consultant with McKinsey &amp; Company for close to a decade.</p>
<h3>Matrimony.com gets new CFO</h3>
<p>Matrimony.com, the online matchmaking and marriage services, on Tuesday announced the appointment of Sushanth Pai as CFO with effect from 15 December.</p>
<p>Pai is joining the firm from Mindtree Ltd, where he&#8217;s currently AVP-Finance. He has over 20 years of experience across technology, finance and advisory domains, and has worked with companies including GE Capital International Services and KPMG.</p>
<p>Murugavel Janakiraman, CEO, Matrimony.com, , said, &#8220;We’re sure his financial acumen and experience will help Matrimony.com achieve its goals. We also want to recognise the immense contribution made by Balasubramanian K, the current CFO who’s retiring from active corporate life, in taking our company public, managing investor relations, streamlining the financial processes and driving efficiency.&#8221;</p>
