Lahore-based B2B2C e-commerce platform 24SEVEN has raised $6 million in its pre-Series A round led by SOSV with the participation of Betatron Venture Group, Newlin VC, Verity Capital, and Argo’s Quest.

The round also saw the participation of a host of Pakistani and international family offices, besides several angel investors including Babs Ogundeyi, founder of Nigerian fintech unicorn Kuda Bank; and Murtaza Ahmed, former managing partner at SoftBank’s Latin America Fund.

Betatron Venture Group, headquartered in Hong Kong, is understood to have funded $1 million in this round.

24SEVEN claims to be Pakistan’s first community commerce platform that is creating a rapidly growing network of resellers in communities; rebranding and digitizing mom and pop ‘kirana’ stores and transforming them into 24SEVEN Apni Dukan resellers.
