Global financial services provider Avendus Capital has announced three new transitions in the firm while KKR has appointed a real estate veteran to heads its Asia Pacific real estate business.
<h3>Three transitions in Avendus Capital</h3>
<a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Avendus%20Capital">Avendus Capital</a> has made several new appointments starting with former executive director for consumer, financial and business services (CFB) Ritesh Chandra who has been with the firm for nearly 10 years. Chandra has been re-designated as head of a new fund which is expected to be launched post-regulatory approvals.
While Abha Agarwal will co-head the CFB vertical with Anshul Agarwal, the former has been with Avendus Capital for over a decade, having led multiple large and complex transactions in the past. Anshul Agarwal joins the firm from Rothschild and brings with him over 15 years of investment banking experience.
&#8220;The latest transition and appointments are significant milestones in Avendus’ plans of taking the franchise to the next level,&#8221; commented Avendus Capital co-founder and managing director Ranu Vohra, in a statement.
<h3>New APAC head of real estate in KKR</h3>
Global investment firm <a href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=kkr">KKR</a> has appointed real estate veteran John Pattar as member and head of real estate in Asia Pacific, who will be based in Hong Kong.
In his new role, Pattar will work alongside KKR&#8217;s existing real estate team and regional investment teams as well as leadership to source attractive real estate opportunities across Asia as well as to help grow KKR&#8217;s partnerships with clients.
Pattar has been in the property investment, development, capital transactions and asset management in Asia for nearly 30 years. Previously he was the CEO of CLSA Real Estate, which he joined in 2004.
