Toyota-backed self-driving startup considers going public in the US’s self-driving car

Self-driving tech company, backed by Toyota Motor Corp, is considering going public in the United States to help fund its goal of commercializing driverless ride-hailing services, its chief executive told Reuters.

The startup, active in the United States and China, plans to instal its technology in hundreds of vehicles next year, rising to tens of thousands in 2024-2025, he said.
