Razer posts narrower losses during first half this year, but cash burn deepens

Singapore-based gaming hardware manufacturing company Razer Inc. reported its earnings result for the first half of 2019 (1H 2019) ending June 30 with revenues growing by 30.3 per cent year-on-year (YoY) to $357.15 million. Losses during the period narrowed to $47.73 million from 57.09 million in the previous year.

Here’s a closer look at the numbers. Razer’s hardware business revenues grew by 26.2 per cent YoY to $303.70 million. The increase was driven primarily by robust growth recorded by its Systems business whose revenues grew 92.0 per cent to $124.32 million during the January-June period this year.
