Impact investor The Rockefeller Foundation has long advocated for using private capital to meet the massive cost of solving the world’s social, economic and environmental problems. One of its key focus areas this year in Asia is partnering with and tapping local investors and institutions to grow that pool.

“We anticipate working with various asset holders and allocators from Asia in 2019 and 2020 to deploy high-impact capital where it is most needed,” Deepali Khanna, Managing Director for Asia at The Rockefeller Foundation told DEALSTREETASIA in an email interview.
