State Bank of India (SBI), country’s largest lender, has sold 5 per cent stake National Stock Exchange (NSE) for Rs 911.3 crore ($135.8 million), according to a stock market disclosure.
The bank has sold 22.5 lakh equity shares of NSE to Veracity Investments Ltd, a Mauritius-based FII (foreign institutional investor) at Rs 4,050 per share for a total consideration of Rs 911.25 crore, it said in a BSE filing.
