Weekly roundup: PH cloud kitchen MadEats secures $1.7m and other SE Asia deals

MadEats, a Philippines-based startup that provides delivery-only cloud kitchen services, has announced raising $1.7 million in a seed funding round co-led by JAM Fund, Crystal Towers Capital, Starling Ventures, MAIN, and Rebel Fund.

A Y Combinator alumni, MadEats currently operates three ghost kitchens in Metro Manila and plans to cover more of the capital city’s northern part. It also seeks to open physical stores in the future.
