Fundraising by Southeast Asian startups plunged to its lowest so far this year at $1.27 billion in September, with just two deals in the month valued north of $100 million, show proprietary data compiled by DealStreetAsia.
The deal value in September was 76% lower than the $5.32 billion raised in August, a clear sign of investor caution amid macroeconomic volatility.
