Competition is about to get much more interesting for Southeast Asia’s internet giants.

In the last few years, GoTo, Grab, and Shopee have been generous — exorbitant almost — in spending their way into consumers’ wallets. But while the trio may be the undisputed B2C winners in Southeast Asia today, cash is finally turning out to be a finite resource for these unicorns.
