Southeast Asia’s startups seeking to accelerate growth after raising seed and Series A funding rounds have, over the years, found themselves in the difficult position of securing Series B funding because of a scarcity of investors.

The so-called “Valley of Death” at the Series B stage, however, could soon be addressed as more venture capital firms make aggressive moves by launching growth funds targeted at the region.
