SG medtech startup Ark raises $40m Series A led by Venturecraft shareholders

Singapore-based medtech startup Ark has raised $40 million in a Series A funding round led by Venturecraft shareholders and joined by Gaorong Capital (formerly Banyan Capital). The financing marks one of the largest Series A rounds closed by a Southeast Asian firm.

Ark was formed as a result of a merger between A*STAR spin-off MiRXES and Singapore venture capital firm Venturecraft. The startup aims to eliminate late-stage cancer-related deaths by 2048 through accurate, affordable and actionable cancer detection technologies.
