SGInnovate invests in 3 deep-tech startups, partners four universities

SGInnovate, Singapore government-owned innovation platform, has announced its investments in three deep-tech startups – Horizon Quantum Computing, Involt and Portcast – as part of its efforts to support the ecosystem in the city-state.

While Horizon Quantum Computing is developing tools to enable software engineers build quantum-enhanced applications, Involt is building new energy storage cells to reduce carbon reliance. And, Portcast is building digital solutions to help logistics companies better predict global cargo flows. The startup is planning for a 2019 launch.
