Singapore’s GIC holds 15.6% post-IPO stake in US cybersecurity firm McAfee

Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC has disclosed it held around 26.4 million shares in cybersecurity company McAfee, which began trading after its US initial public offering on Thursday.

The Class A shares are held by Snowlake Investment, which is controlled by GIC Special Investments, a wholly-owned subsidiary of GIC. GIC did not immediately return DealStreetAsia’s emailed request for comment, which was sent outside of office hours.
