Singapore: RE&S Holdings sees shares climb 41% of Catalist debut

Japanese restaurant group RE&S Holdings opened trading on the SGX Catalist at S$0.355 amid strong investor interest in its initial public offer (IPO), which saw its offer subscribed 37.8 times. It opened trading at 35.5 cents per share on 22 November and at market close was trading at 31 cents, 41 per cent higher than its issue price of 22 cents.

Its IPO saw 5,722 valid applications for a total of 580,324,800 public offer shares, with application monies received from such applications amounting to approximately S$127.7 million ($94.2 million).
