Singapore-based firms in equity capital markets have secured $173.6 million in this quarter alone, which is a 44.1 per cent increase compared to the same period in 2015, according to data published by Thomson Reuters.
Most of the financing raised by local firms were conducted through follow-on offerings. So far, $144.7 million in proceeds have been reached, which is a 20.1 per cent increase from Q1 2015.
