Singapore's Temasek joins $80m round of US-based AI energy storage firm Stem

Singapore’s state investor Temasek Holdings has joined a group of top technology investors, led by Activate Capital, in backing the $80 million Series D round in US-based intelligent energy storage provider Stem Inc.

In a statement, the California-headquartered Stem Inc said, the Series D round, which also saw the participation of Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, capped a record 2017 for the company’s growth in system count, new market expansion, and partnerships.
