SoftBank Vision Fund invests $300m in US-based Automation Anywhere

US-based startup Automation Anywhere, a provider of robotic process automation, on Thursday announced that it has raised $300 million from the SoftBank Vision Fund in an expansion of its Series A round.

The company had raised $250 million in a Series A round led by New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and Goldman Sachs Growth Equity in July this year. The round, which also saw participation from General Atlantic and World Innovation Lab (WiL), valued the company at $1.8 billion.
