Singapore's SPH, Bridge C set up fund to invest in aged care assets in Japan

Singapore Exchange Mainboard-listed Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) Limited has set up a joint venture fund with Bridge C Capital Inc to invest in aged care assets such as senior housing, nursing homes and medical office buildings in Japan.

Under the JV agreement, SPH will inject seed equity of up to S$50 million ($36.44 million) into the fund through its subsidiary, SPH JPAM Pte Ltd, while Bridge C will be the asset manager of the properties acquired by the Fund in Japan.
