Tookitaki acquisition to help Thunes reduce cost of cross-border payments, says CEO

In today’s connected world, businesses in any location can reach suppliers and customers around the world. Consequently, cross-border transactions are also growing. Nonetheless, transferring money overseas is often complex and expensive, not to mention the security issues involved. 

Thunes, a Singapore-based payment firm is trying to solve such problems by providing APIs that connect businesses with banks, remittance platforms, and digital wallets around the world, allowing them to transfer and receive funds in 126 countries.
