Twitter is in talks to invest in local language social networking app ShareChat at a $600-650 million valuation, said an ET report, quoting sources. The proposed investment will help the microblogging site expand its operations in cities beyond the metros.
Twitter is expected to lead a $100 million funding round in the four-year old Bengaluru-based startup (run by Mohalla Tech Pvt. Ltd), the report added.
