University of Michigan commits $111m in total to Sequoia, Matrix funds

The University of Michigan has approved an aggregate of $111 million in commitments to funds managed by venture capital investors Sequoia Capital and Matrix Partners, according to a board document.

The commitments were approved by the university’s regents at a meeting early this month.
