Digital payments platform Xendit — one of the seven unicorns minted in Indonesia last year — is learnt to be finalising a fresh funding round, worth over $200 million, from global investors Coatue Management and Insight Partners, three sources aware of the development told DealStreetAsia.

The sources indicated that the new round is set to value Xendit at a pre-money valuation of over $2.7 billion — almost triple its earlier valuation. “Post this round, the company’s valuation is set to touch $3B,” one of the executives quoted above added.
