IFC proposes $25m equity investment in Quona Capital’s latest fund

International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, has proposed a $25-million equity investment in the latest vehicle of Washington and Bengaluru-headquartered venture capital (VC) firm Quona Capital.

In a disclosure, IFC said its proposed investment is for Quona Accion Inclusion Fund III, a VC fund that seeks to invest in early- and growth-stage companies that develop or provide products, services, and technology to expand financial inclusion in emerging markets.
